How Input Output Tables Work
Every row in an input output table uses the same math rule. The input is the starting number. The rule changes it, and the result is the output. In this game the highlighted rule and one completed example remain visible while you work.
Choose a level
Add & Subtract is the starting mode. Multiply & Divide uses ×2, ×3, ×4, and ÷2. Two Steps uses a fixed order; for “× 2 then + 3,” multiply first and add second on every row.
Check the whole table
Select one answer in each row and press Check table. The first check reports how many rows are correct while keeping every choice. A second check highlights one row without revealing its answer; a third check can work through that operation step by step.
Input output tables help students notice repeated structure and practice operations. The modes span a broad range, roughly ages 6–11 as a guide; choose by the operations the learner already knows.
